Pachino-type Elisir tomato is a highly productive variety that adapts easily to any soil, growing in clusters of about 8 fruit each.
It belongs to the species Solanum lycopersicum, family Solanaceae. A lush, productive plant able to form clusters of up to 8 fruits.
Sow in a heated seedbed between February and March; transplant between April and May.
It adapts to any type of soil, making it one of the easiest varieties to grow in both open field and greenhouse.
The round, slightly elongated fruits are deep red and are harvested in whole clusters once well coloured.
Thanks to its good rusticity and adaptability, it shows fair resistance to common adversities; good canopy ventilation is still helpful.
Rich in nutrients in both skin and flesh, it is ideal for fresh use in salads and snacking.
Rich in lycopene, vitamin C and potassium, Elisir tomato has antioxidant properties beneficial to overall wellbeing.
