The dried Aribibi Gusano pepper, also called Caterpillar Pepper or Turtle's Claw, is a rare and curious variety native to the city of Aribibi, in the Amazon region of Bolivia. Its name comes from the Spanish word "gusano" (worm), due to the wrinkled, elongated shape of the fruits resembling a small caterpillar, ripening from light green to creamy white.
