Maestro Carrot
Maestro Carrot F1 is a Nantes-type variety with a medium-late cycle, producing smooth, cylindrical roots with a bright orange color, 18-20 cm long.
The Maestro Carrot Plant
Botanical name Daucus carota, family Apiaceae. It is an F1 hybrid with medium-height, fairly dense foliage and a fine but sturdy leaf attachment that supports the root well during development.
How to Sow Maestro Carrot
Sow directly in the field from early March to late June, in rows 30 cm apart, burying the seeds about 1 cm deep.
How to Grow Maestro Carrot
It prefers loose, deep soil free of stones, which could deform the root. Seedlings must be thinned while still small, to obtain regularly shaped roots of uniform diameter.
Its medium-late cycle makes it suitable for both fresh consumption and storage, thanks to the good tolerance to silvering typical of this hybrid.

Regular watering, without excessive swings, favors the formation of smooth, uniform roots, avoiding surface cracks that would affect their commercial appearance.
