Blonde Cigarette Pepper
Blonde Cigarette pepper, also known as Lombardo cigarette pepper, is a traditional Italian variety with a thin, cylindrical fruit, about 10-12 cm long, with a downward-pointing tip, turning from light green to bright red at full maturity.

Botanically it is a Capsicum annuum, part of the Solanaceae family. The plant is medium-sized, about 60 cm tall, with small, numerous leaves that cover the fruit well, which hangs downward. It is a strong, vigorous and extremely productive variety.
It is among the easiest peppers to grow, suitable even for beginners, with a distinctive aroma and flavor.
How to Sow Blonde Cigarette pepper
Sowing takes place in a heated seedbed, burying the seeds about 0.5-1 cm deep, in a warm, bright location. Transplanting into the field or pots generally takes place from March to June, once the risk of late frosts has passed.
